Keep Bressay Clean!
This summer Speldiburn Cafe, Bressay, are inviting young artists of all ages to design a poster on the environmental theme ‘Keep Bressay Clean!’
This year, Da Voar Redd Up (a hugely successful community litter picking event which takes place in Spring each year across Shetland) was sadly postponed due to the pandemic. Coronavirus has effected everyone’s lives in so many ways, but it’s important to continue looking after the environment and picking up litter and plastic waste. As well as being beneficial for the environment, looking after our surroundings is good for our own wellbeing - even just picking up 3 items whilst on a daily walk or exercise.
Entries will be exhibited online on the Bressay.org website and displayed around Bressay.
