Art in the Garden

As part of encouraging creativity and wellbeing activities here on Bressay during the pandemic, a small group of us spent yesterday afternoon drawing and painting in a beautiful Bressay garden!

The weather was glorious, and the August flowers were varied, with so many colours and shapes still to be seen in the late summer blooms. Thank you to all involved and to all who attended!

It was important too to spend some time together (in a socially distanced setting) after these months of lockdown. The afternoon was supported by Bressay Development Ltd, who recently received funds from the Supporting Communities Fund and the Wellbeing Fund (both set up as a result of COVID-19) in order to help support the Bressay community as much as possible.
