Gathering Strings at Bressay Heritage Centre

Head to Bressay Heritage Centre ...and learn all about lighthouses!

During spring this year, a series of informal conversations took place with the Bressay History Group and others in the local community to share memories, with the Bressay Lighthouse as our theme. These chats then shaped a series of drawing workshops with local children.

A display of history and photographs from the project is now on show!

An exhibition of more artwork by the children will be opening later this week in Bressay - watch this space for more info!

Bressay Heritage Centre is open Wed, Fri & Sat, 10am to 4pm until September
