Discover the potential of drawing outside this spring! As nature starts to reawaken, join this session to immerse yourself in nature’s energy, rhythms and forms, and find focus through drawing.
The afternoon aims to give you the confidence and skills to use line, composition and viewpoint to explore sense of place and seasonality. We’ll start with a brief introduction and presentation in the Pavilion before heading outside in the beautiful surroundings of the Flower Park. We’ll also have chance to chat about our work during the break.
This session is recommended for ages +16. All levels of drawing experience welcome, including beginners.
Basic drawing materials and paper are provided, but please feel free to bring anything you enjoy using.
Please dress appropriately for the weather. If you have something to sit on outside, this might be useful to bring along if you prefer to sit to draw. In wet weather we can work in the Flower Pavilion, and we’ll also meet there for refreshments during a short break.
£22 per participant.
