Create Networks Sharing Event

When & Where: 1400 - 1600, Friday 1st October | Online Via Zoom | Click here to register

Earlier this year, I ran ‘Da Voar Draw’, a series online drawing activities on social media. This was a part of Create Networks, supported by Look Again, Aberdeen. In a special event on Zoom tomorrow, hear how this project and others involved in Create Networks developed new ways of staying connected and of supporting each other during the pandemic!

Look Again: “From a drawing project in Shetland to a group supporting young neuro-diverse musicians, a writers group in Aberdeen, to printmakers skills sharing in Orkney, we’ll hear who they are, what they did, and what they learned, helping us understand how creative support structures can flourish despite challenging times.”

Speakers Include:

Jo Gilbert of Aberdeen Writers Workshop, Jack Murray Brown of D2, Lorna McLaren of Neuro Diversity Music Network, Carol Dunbar of Solisquoy Printmakers, Lynne Hocking-Mennie of Applied Arts Scotland and Abby Quick of Miasma artists network.

This event is part of Beyond BAS9, a 10-day programme of exhibitions and events marking the final weeks of the British Art Show 9 in Aberdeen. Find out more here.
